Thierry Mugler

Having recently found a Thierry Mugler skirt, but admittedly not knowing much about the designer other than his reputation for futuristic Couture (didn't even know how to pronounce his name), I set out to learn a little more. This NY Times Style video is pretty interesting.

Hmm... a bit campy for me, but at the same time, completely fascinating. The man was a genius, a true visionary who definitely knew how to think outside the box, or perhaps he invented the box. I completely respect and admire his innovative spirit (and obviously Balenciaga and all the other huge fashion houses do to)!

Chia Fingers!

These rings are called "Growing Jewlery" and were created by Icelandic designer Hafsteinn Juliusson.

The softness of the moss really balances out the edgy design of the ring; a perfect yin and yang. I think they are really neat and innovative and I love the idea of wearing a living plant. It's like taking a fresh breath of air with you everywhere you go... in more ways than one! Found here.
